We introduce our little "secret" to making great tasting vegetarian dishes. A textured protein that is ALL VEGETABLE provides substance and taste to your favorite recipes. Use our "Hamish Bits" as you would bacon bits. Put it directly in gravy, stews, or other dishes that are being cooked. It tastes great in gravy poured over biscuits! You can also rehydrate it in a small amount of hot water for 5-7 minutes, drain, and use on pizza. This is a MUST HAVE for any vegetarian kitchen! (Vegetarian/Vegan)

Ingredients: Textured vegetable protein (soy flour, red 3), soybean oil, water, hydrolyzed corn-soy protein, brown sugar, salt, autolyzed yeast extract, smoke flavoring, artificial flavoring, dextrose, partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil, disodium inosinate, disodiutein, onion powder, autolyzed yeast extract, salt, spice, natural flavorings, extractives of paprika. CONTAINS SOY 

Description & Directions: Hamish Bits are a textured vegetable protein product with a bacon-like, flavor, aroma, and color. Rehydrate with water at a 2 to 1 ratio for use as ground ham, or use directly in gravies, stews, and other dishes. 

Storage & Shelf-life: Store in original container in a cool, dry location, for 24 months. You may also reseal product in a vacuum type storage bag for extended storage. Once hydrated this product should be handled as fresh meat.
